LOTTIE

Lottie is a beautiful Ruby cavalier.  She was our very first and is coming up to 12 this year.  We got Lottie from a KC registered breeder local to us and she picked us to be her slaves in August 2006.  Lottie came home with us 8 weeks later and changed our lives forever.  Lottie sadly has the all to common inherent condition that cavaliers suffer with including that of the dreaded MVD, Mitral Valve Disease.  Lottie also suffers with DE, Dry Eye.  This lovely natured very stubborn and gentle princess also has a rare disease called Eosinophilic Stomatitis.  Normally found in cats but if dogs are going to get it, cavaliers are the ones.  This is probably the most painful to Lottie as it means her immune system basically attacks her throat.  It has left Lottie with painful, raw lesions covering her throat.  Her daily meds for all conditions is a at an all time high and our lives are determined by clock watching when the next dose is due.
Lottie is the most easiest sweet natured Princess.  Although she is very stubborn she is also pretty clever too.  If Lottie doesnt want to do something she won't.
